Rekonas has moved from integrated system development into clinical validation. The current system combines high-resolution head and torso position with sleep EEG and synchronized physiological signals for multi-night use at home.
Adult validation work is underway with University Hospital Basel, alongside pediatric sleep validation at the University Children’s Hospital Basel (UKBB).
Why the work matters
Position can change during the night, and head and torso can move independently. The validation program is designed to assess the measurement foundation required to preserve that context alongside physiological signals.
Our goal is to make positional context measurable before it is translated into research evidence or future clinical guidance.
The Rekonas system is functional but not yet certified. Clinical use is intended only after the relevant validation, certification and market-access steps.
